About Salzwerk
Salzwerk is a small Swiss app studio. We build calm apps and games that bring a little joy every day: for learning, pausing, falling asleep and gardening.
Why we exist
Many apps for families are loud and mostly want attention. We want to show there is another way: small, carefully made apps that are good for children and parents, and that you are happy to give your time to.
What matters to us
- Calm No rush, no tricks that keep you glued to the screen.
- Care One app at a time, each designed down to the last detail.
- Trust We don’t collect data we don’t need.

Who’s behind it
Salzwerk is run by Michael Salzer with flink think GmbH in Pratteln near Basel. The name is easy to explain: Salzer plus Werk, German for workshop. The apps are made alongside client work, and the family tests every one of them.
